Which is the first fully electric car in India?
The first fully electric car in India is the Reva Electric Car Company's Reva, now known as the Mahindra e2o.
The Reva was first launched in India in 2001 and was later renamed the Mahindra e2o after Mahindra & Mahindra acquired the Reva Electric Car Company in 2010. The Mahindra e2o is a small, four-seater hatchback that is fully powered by an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack, and has a range of around 120 km on a single charge.
It has been one of the pioneers in the electric car segment in India and has paved the way for other electric car manufacturers to enter the Indian market.
