New iPhone 15 Exclusive Confirms Stunning Apple Design Decision
An industry insider has claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature the thinnest bezel black edge of any smartphone on the market, measuring just 1.55mm. This breaks the record set by the Xiaomi 13 and is approximately 20% and 30% thinner than the Galaxy S23 and iPhone 14 Pro bezels, respectively. A smaller bezel will offer a more immersive experience and allow for either a larger screen to be fitted into the same size chassis or a more compact device with the same screen size as its predecessor. However, there is some uncertainty surrounding this claim, as the leaker's previous CADs of the iPhone 15 Pro have been at odds with other renders.
Leaker Sonny Dickson has also shared images and a video of the iPhone 15 Pro Max's display, revealing a new design that curves around the display and has a 2.5D screen edge radian. The switch to USB-C is also highly anticipated but influential analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that Apple will restrict the performance of the universal port, unless customers are using an MFi (Made for iPhone) approved USB-C cable, which may anger some iPhone fans.
